LATIN DANCE TECHNIQUES AND BODY MOVEMENT 101 (LDTBM 101) This course is designed to address general techniques and body movements that go across genres (Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, e.t.c.). This course takes you all the way from learning how to take a step, through weight shift, up to torso rotations, shoulder shimmies and arm extensions. These classes are semi-progressive. Each class would go over concepts and general ideas learned in the previous. But people can drop-in as well due to the relaxed and spontaneous nature of the class. Prerequisite: None required What would you learn?: Stepping v. Weight shift, Weight Transfer, Groundedness, Arm Timing, Proper Shoulder Rotations, Different shapes of Hip Movements, e.t.c.
