Service Description
SALSA 406 (S406b) - Level 4 Salsa On1 This is the sixth Level 4 course of Salsa Classes for advanced beginners. It is required that the student has a solid understanding of Latin/Afro Caribbean rhythms. The individuals in this course should have little to no difficulty finding the rhythm or maintaining their steps when dancing. This class is perfect for individuals that exhibit proficiency at leading and following general moves - right turns, left turns, cross body leads, copas, 360s, e.t.c. - in rhythm. The student should also have a general understanding of basic body movements and how they connect with the basic step. This course comprises of progressive classes. This means each class would build on information from the previous class. It is highly recommended that students register for the course at the beginning of each month and plan to attend all classes consecutively. A skipped class can be made up on a different day of the week (if the class is offered) but missed classes cannot “roll-over” into the subsequent month/course. Prerequisite: S201 - S206 or consent of the instructor.
