Service Description
This is the fourth Level 1 course of Salsa Classes for beginners. Although it is not required, it is expected that the student has a general understanding of Latin/Afro Caribbean rhythms. For the individuals that still have a little difficulty finding the rhythm or maintaining their steps, it is highly suggested that they take SALSA 099 concurrently with this class. This class is perfect for individuals that have been doing some dancing - Any kind of dancing - and would like to learn Salsa in a more structured way while still having a great time in a positive, uplifting and energetic environment. Also for individuals that have been dancing Salsa already but would like to clean up their basics and add flavor and body movement to their dance. This course comprises of progressive classes. This means each class would build on information from the previous class. It is highly recommended that students register for the course at the beginning of each month and plan to attend all classes consecutively. A skipped class can be made up on a different day of the week (if the class is offered) but missed classes cannot “roll-over” into the subsequent month/course. Prerequisite: None required.
